HADITH ON CHARITY
وعن عدى بن حاتم رضي الله عنه أ رسول الله ﷺ قال: “اتقوا النار ولو بشق تمرة” ((متفق عليه)).
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Protect yourself from Hell-fire
even by giving a piece of date as charity" [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "الساعي على الأرملة والمسكين كالمجاهد في سبيل الله
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The one who cares for the widow and the poor is like one who fights in the way of Allah.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6006)
وعنه قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ : “إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية ،أو علم ينتفع به، أو ولد صالح يدعو له” ((رواه مسلم)).
Muhammad, upon him be peace, said: "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." [Muslim]
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "أفضل الصدقة أن تُشبِعَ كَبِدًا جائعًا"
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best charity is to satisfy a hungry stomach." (Sunan Ibn Majah 3664)
